The Main Character

Image Description: A digital poster of my OC Natasha Sidney being framed by various symbols. The color palette is inspired by Will Wood's album, "in case i make it,". Natasha is front and center, while she's facing to her right with a trustworthy smile. Behind her head is the sun being covered by a moon. She's holding two halves of a mask, one is frowning and one is smiling. She has angel wings on her back. There are two arms coming from the bottom: an arm of nerves on Natasha's right, and an arm of bones on her left. The nerves are holding a shovel and the bones are holding a staff with a broken bell at its tip. The shovel and the staff are crossed together behind her legs. Lyrics of Will Wood's "The Main Character" is formatted around the illustration. The text reads, "I'm the gap between a tragedy and comedy / Don't come at me I'm the main character and you have to like me!" End ID.

A fun poster with a whole lot of symbolisms thrown in. They all represent some characters in the story that Natasha's in, surrounding her on all fronts. It could be read that she's just the center of their stories, though that can also be said that she's the source of all their problems.

Funny when I drew this, she was the antagonist of the story. As of setting this gallery up...I'm doing a retool of this story, and I eventually settled on making her the main character because she's just...something. Though judging by my thoughts when I was conceptualizing this piece, it does make total sense that she gets to be the POV character.
