2015 art gallery
My 2015 style was...crazy. It's the blueprint of my quote-unquote "main artstyle" that I still use today. Mostly it was the eye shape, but I remember getting more ambitious with character designs this year. I also completely ditched the "Adventure Time" style of noodly bodies and bean shaped mouths in favor of the more angular shapes.
To say that Inside Out inspired my art is an understatement. It had a huge impact on how I see shapes and silhouettes and all that jazz. While I don't think I pushed the envelope far enough when looking back, I do think I had a crazy time trying to humanize the Inside Out characters that it felt like I was improving on...something, in a sense.
